The Little Museum With The Big Collection! Visitor Count 750 For the 2006 Season! |
|
Last season 535 people visited down from the1016 people who visited the Museum in 2004. This year the Society, recognizing the importance of the Museum to the County and her people, will be working on an extensive promotion campaign to introduce the Museum to the surrounding areas and to re-interest the local residents in the vast wealth of artifacts portraying the rich history and heritage of Cameron County and her people.
A newly designed full color brochure was part of the 2004 campaign. There is a link to it on the main page. This very professional brochure was spread through out the area to entice people to come visit. An update is in the works. Society members are always encouraged to bring friends and relatives to the Museum. To help with availability, the Museum will be open by appointment and by chance when volunteers are available and happen to be working at the Museum.
The Count will be updated weekly. Our goal for this season is 1000 visitors! |
